Fearless Theatre sponsored young indigenous rising star Linikka Richards to attend the State Theatre Company Summer School Workshop in Adelaide from 5-9 December 2016. Linikka is passionate about acting and has been working with Act Now Theatre, which recommended her for sponsorship.

Led by Ashton Malcolm and Sara Dunn, the one-week intensive acting workshop is targeted to students 15 years and over. The program enables students to work with professional teaching artists exploring acting techniques including voice, devising, dramatic movement, character analysis and improvisation, culminating in a showing on the final day.

For 19 year old Linikka this was something of a dream come true. “My experience with the workshop was amazing!” she said “I was able to work alongside professional artists and learn about all the different types of languages in theatre.”

With your help, Fearless Theatre hopes to support a lot more people like Linikka pursue their passion for the theatre.
